Harshita Sandhu
Harshita Sandhu is a public policy professional and has recently completed her Masters in Public Policy from the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Toronto. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and Criminology from the University of Western Ontario.
As a Junior Policy Analyst for the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skill Development, Harshita supported policy development efforts for skill development and training in Ontario by leading various policy files. During her master's degree, she was part of two student-led initiatives - the Public Good Initiative and the Equity, Diversity and Public Policy Initiative, which allowed her to actively engage with various policy issues facing Canadians.
Harshita is a proud feminist and a strong advocate for issues pertaining to gender, race, healthcare, immigration and international development. In her spare time she enjoys reading, baking, being physically active, socializing, and catching up on new TV series.
